To date, a total of 350 contestants have participated, and the 2024 competition welcomed approximately 2,000 spectators, making it one of the largest shoeshine events in the world.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"732\" data-end=\"1190\">For the 2025 competition, the event will be held in Sapporo for the first time. In addition, six regional tournaments across Japan are scheduled, including the Tohoku-Hokuriku, Kanto-Koshinetsu, and Chugoku-Shikoku areas, as officially recognized qualifying events. With the expansion of competition categories, the event is expected to generate even greater excitement.
