We implemented our SAP solution designed to address Japan-specific requirements in the field of sales management (order, shipment, and billing) of the pharmaceutical industry. This solution is primarily built using standard functions of SAP SD.

SAP Template for JD-NET Transactions

The template provides order-related functions such as “shipping date determination and cutoff time management,” “transaction category assignment,” and “management of discontinued or limited-supply items”; shipment-related functions such as “lot reversal check”; and billing functions such as “shikiri number assignment and split of shikiri slips,” “shikiri search,” and “monthly invoices,” all required for JD-NET transactions.

Utilization of SAP Standard Functions

By implementing the pharmaceutical industry–specific requirements using SAP standard functions, the solution contributes to improved system performance and serviceability.
